Business Development Director

Overview

The primary function of the Business Development Director is to drive the growth and expansion of the brand. The position is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive business development strategy to identify new opportunities, build partnerships, and maximize sales potential.

The Business Development Director will actively engage with key stakeholders, including investors, clients, distributors, and retailers, to establish and maintain strong relationships. The role requires strong networking, negotiation, and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of the craft beer industry. Success in this role will contribute to the brewery's market presence, revenue growth, and overall business success.

Job Duties

  • Implement a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth and expand the brewery's market presence.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform business development strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders to foster business growth and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Lead negotiations and contract discussions with potential partners, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements are reached.
  • Monitor industry developments and competitor activities to proactively identify potential threats and opportunities for the brewery.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to craft beer, business development, and sales strategies.
  • Represent the brewery at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and establish industry connections.

Requirements

  • The love of craft beer and a general knowledge of the F&B scene in HK
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing business development strategies, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills with the ability to establish and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders, including clients, distributors, and retailers.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas and proposals effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct market research, analyse data, and make strategic recommendations based on findings.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed for industry events, trade shows, and meetings.

Sales Executive

Overview

The primary function of the Sales Executive position is to assist the Moonzen team in executing sales strategy. Working closely with the marketing and operations team, he/she is responsible for growing and maintaining clients and servicing to generate sales. The candidate will report to the Director of Sales Manager of the brewery.

Preferably with an outgoing personality, this is a perfect position for someone who has an interest in being involved in the local beer as well as aspirations of entrepreneurship by delivering tangible results by gradually developing his/her client network.

Job Duties

  • Research and recommend prospects for new business opportunities
  • Assist in responding to company-generated leads and execute the sales strategy
  • Evaluate customer needs during on-site visit
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotes and sales options
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects
  • Arrange delivery and issue invoices for clients
  • Actively participate and support beer events
  • Follow up on customer complaints and coordinate with required departments, including the brewing team and marketing team

Requirements

  • The love of craft beer and general knowledge of the F&B scene in HK
  • Outgoing personality, fast learner and quick thinker
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, desire to deliver results
  • Knowledge in F&B industry, SME environment or alcohol beverages production facility will be considered a plus 
  • Able to communicate clearly in spoken English and Cantonese
  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Immediate available
